How To Clean: Fan Extractor Filters

Required:


  • Filters
  • Sink (large enough to hold single filter to soak)
  • Hot water
  • 1L dishwashing liquid
  • 1/4C baking soda
  • 1 non-abrasive dish-scrubber brush
  • kitchen gloves
  • cloth (to wipe filters dry)



How To:

  1. Remove filter from rangehood.
  2. In sink, add a good squirt of dishwashing liquid and baking soda and enough hot water to cover filter). 
  3. Mix well using dish-scrubber.
  4. Add filter to sink.
  5. Leave 10 mins.
  6. Wear gloves, scrub filter with dish-scrubber.
  7. Add more dishwashing liquid to dish-scrubber if required. 
  8. Wipe and dry clean filter thoroughly with cloth.


Recommendation:

Clean filters once a month.
